Nice game. The Oil need to be better on special teams.

Josh is finally showing why he was a first rounder. It took a while, but he really has played very well from the end of last year & the start of this.

Okposo on the other hand....

Next game is against the Canes... nice to have 3 soft teams in a row... Hopefully we can get the W.

What about him? I haven't had much time to check in on the Isles but I picked him up in a deep fantasy pool. Is he still playing with Tavares?

Yeah what about him??? He's been much better than the previous year and a half. He also picked it up big time at the end of last season. Also that fight he had in the playoffs rallied the team big time. I'm not saying he a superstar at all but he has been playing much much better lately

agreed he also is at about a ppg. Hes starting out very well so far. The first couple of games he was rusty but he last few games he seems to be the KO we saw in the playoffs.

KO is by no means a top line player. Years after being drafted he still looks 'raw'. I spent the last game paying a lot of attention to Kyle away from the puck and can't say I was impressed. A lot of floating, and not a real good sixth sense for anticipation. As for the PPG part, Brad friggin' Boyes was nearly at a point per game with Tavares. I expect ANYONE on his wing should be at a ppg pace. We'll see if Kyle can ramp things up a little earlier this year.

Once again our special teams let us down. You guys killing the 3 penalties in a row in the second turned the game around. Then the blown coverage in JT's goal was a big let down. Not that it had any bearing on the game really but the delay of game by Petry was aweful. How can 4 officials all be on the ivce and get that wrong...

Good game. Could've gone either way.

just to add onto your point, when tavares has 9 pts in 7 games its hard for his linemates to not be ppg players...although somehow moulsons figured out a way to do it

i also thought it looked like the puck glanced against the glass but figured since it wasnt made into a big deal that i was wrong.

He's done it by not playing with JT, but on the PP.

1) jt plays on the powerplay...

2) of his 6 pts, tavares was involved in (goal or assist) 5 of those (2 were scored on the power play)

He has zero creativity with the puck, makes horrendous passes constantly and plays like a bottom six forward.
